Zara, an established Surface and Textile Designer (one of the industries unsung heroes, Selvedge Magazine) is the founding Director of Colour Union Ltd. Her experience coupled with a sound academic background, BA Textiles, MA Visual Communication, has been invaluable in setting up this design concept. Zara is also a University lecturer at the 'University of the Arts' and the 'University of London' specialising in setting up creative businesses. "Our CSR is to solve creative problems for a demanding client base whilst considering the benefits of colour and design as a therapy!
An established (B.A.) Textile graduate from Central Saint Martins. She has undertaken various freelance projects for Companies such as Circle Line, Atom Designs and is at present with the prestigious and reputable Colour Union. Her work is astute,sassy, cultural yet diverse. She believes that colour works in harmony with each other, which in turn enhances the essence of the design.
Nadine creates intellectual, funky designs through her observations of life. She studied Surface Design at the London College of Communication and can produce work for any surface, from Ceramics to Wallpaper. Her designs reflect the changing nature of fashion, by combining classic and modern elements of design often with a quirky twist. They are eye catching and contain details that represent more than what meets the eye.
Bridget graduated from CSM with a BA Art & Design after her BA Drama and English (South Africa). Pieces of You, her company produces handcrafted, contemporary homeware from recycled and organic textiles to encourage ethical consumption. She runs recycling workshops with children and adults and lectures on Ethical Consumption. www.piecesofyou.co.uk
Brian is a professional photographer who has a passion to juxtapose elements of real-life with the surreal. (See the opening visual of Royal Mail page!) Creating a sublime mix of traditional techniques of photography with a fresh twist of Photoshop wizardry. The results are original and theatrical and he believes imagination is the crucial ingredient to progress.
